Retaining wall construction is continuing under the Gemikonağı Seafront Development Project, financed by Lefke Municipality and the Turkish Office for Economic Cooperation and Coordination.
The project aims to prevent the erosion occurring along the shoreline, strengthen the coast and make the area safer.
Once the work is complete, the Gemikonağı seafront will have a more orderly and durable structure that the public can use with confidence.
As Lefke Municipality we continue to protect and improve our town’s natural and urban areas.
